A recipient who has not previously interacted with PartyGram may receive a one-time transactional SMS invitation related to that event.
PartyGram does not send additional SMS reminders, announcements, or other event notifications to that recipient unless the recipient subsequently opts in to receive ongoing event-related text messages from PartyGram and PartyGram event hosts who invite that phone number.
For recipients who opt in to ongoing SMS communications:
- Message frequency varies depending on the event and host activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to RSVP to an event or otherwise use PartyGram where SMS participation is optional.
4. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
PartyGram does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to operate PartyGram and deliver requested services, such as telecommunications providers that transmit SMS messages on our behalf.
Those providers are permitted to use the information only as necessary to provide their services to PartyGram.
Mobile information and SMS consent information are not transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional use.
5. How We Share Information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Depending on how you use PartyGram, recipients may include:
- Stripe, which receives payment and billing information to process transactions, prevent fraud, and provide related payment services.
- SendGrid, which receives email addresses, email content, and delivery information needed to send and monitor requested event emails.
- Twilio, which receives mobile phone numbers, SMS content, consent or suppression information, and delivery information needed to transmit and monitor permitted event text messages.
- Hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, and support providers, which may process account, event, device, usage, or support information as needed to operate and protect PartyGram.
- Event hosts and participants, when you submit information for an event or use a feature intended to make information visible to them.
These disclosures generally occur electronically through secure website forms, application programming interfaces, provider-hosted components, and authenticated delivery or webhook connections. Service providers are authorized to process information on PartyGram’s behalf for the services they provide, subject to their agreements with PartyGram and applicable law.
Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and security practices. PartyGram receives limited transaction information from Stripe, such as Checkout and payment identifiers, the amount charged, and payment status, so that we can confirm a purchase and provide the applicable service.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law or legal process
- Protect PartyGram, our users, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.

For example, event hosts may be able to view:
- Your name
- RSVP response
- Guest count
- Answers to event questions
- Potluck or wishlist activity
- Other information you intentionally submit in connection with an event
The visibility of information may depend on the event and the features enabled by the host.

You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser settings.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide PartyGram, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
SMS consent records may be retained as necessary to document when and how consent was obtained or withdrawn. Twilio’s current Messaging Policy requires senders to retain proof of consent and be able to provide information about the date and method of consent if requested.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Depending on the information and system involved, these safeguards include:
- Encrypted transmission of information using HTTPS and provider-secured connections
